BAPTISMS

Jesus said ‘Go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit’ (Matthew 28:19).

In baptism we are following the command of Jesus, and it is therefore very important that the promises made either by the individual or by the God Parents at a baptism are not entered into lightly. Baptisms, though a cause for celebration, must never be considered as just an excuse for a party ! It is important that the baptism is followed up by regular attendance in Church, meeting with the wider Christian family of which you are now part.

To check convenient dates and to arrange a baptism please contact Revd. Ian Rees either on

01656 740500 or ian.rees@parishofpyleandkenfig.org.uk

There is no fee for a baptism but a plate is placed at the back of the Church for people to make an offering if they wish.
